Good connections are hard to find, but easy to refer! There are a few ways you can do this:

Tell your contact to email us at info@webmad.co.nz with a mention of who recommended Webmad (you!). You can also let us know we might be hearing from them soon.

If you’re not quite sure what they’re after, email your connection a recommendation with our website link, so they can have a little browse and contact us in their own time. You can then email us separately, to give us a heads up that we might be hearing from their company.

If you know this person is looking for a new website but doesn’t have a lot of time for exploring options, pass on their email address or phone number to us, and we can touch base with them – letting them know you gave us their details.

Who can I refer, and when do I need to do this by?

You can refer any friend, family member or work acquaintance who has not worked with Webmad before. They’ll just need to make contact with us and get a quote for their project by 28 February 2022. If they decide to proceed with a project before 31 March 2022, you’ll get your referral gift card!

Will they know I’m getting a referral gift?

Nope, unless you mention it to them! They’ll just know you recommended us.

How many people can I refer?

You can refer up to 10 contacts during our summer promotion. Each person or company who goes ahead with a digital project of more than $3000 will mean another $100 Countdown gift card for you!

When will I get my Countdown Gift Card?

Once your friend’s job has been confirmed with a deposit paid, and the job is halfway through completion (usually between 1 to 3 weeks after starting), we’ll send you your gift card. If you think this has already happened but you haven’t heard from us yet – send us an email, and we’ll double check for you.

If my company goes ahead with a new job with Webmad, can I get a referral gift card?

Unfortunately, this promotion is for new customers only, not new jobs for existing Webmad customers or past customers. However, if you’ve recently started a job with a new company who has not used Webmad before, you can!

Will I still get my gift if myself and another company have referred our mutual contact to Webmad?

We can only provide one gift card for each person or company who gets referred and goes ahead with a project. It’s best to let us know as soon as you’ve referred someone, so we’ll know you were the first person to do so.

I referred someone to Webmad a while ago, can I still get this gift card?

Not if you referred a friend and they’ve already gone ahead with a project. Unfortunately, this limited time promotion is only available for new referrals who have made contact and started their project from 1 November 2021 – 28 February 2022 (during our quieter summer holiday season!).

How will I receive my Countdown Gift Card?

We can post you a physical card or email you a digital e-gift card. Whichever you prefer!

I don’t live near a Countdown, can I get another type of referral gift?

If your referred friend goes ahead with a job and you don’t live near a Countdown supermarket send us an email and we’ll see what we can do!
