The brief
Corcoran French Lawyers needed a website refresh to improve usability, design, and mobile responsiveness. The existing site had redeeming aspects but lacked the ‘wow’ factor and had several issues, such as clunky design, inappropriate image sizes, overuse of a primary brand colour and low mobile responsiveness. Additionally, they required the creation of engaging video content to highlight their firm’s unique attributes.
The team at Corcoran French partnered with Webmad to create a new, custom designed site that addressed these issues and included new elements like a modern, uncluttered design and customised contact form. Their goal was to maintain an exceptional online presence and to establish themselves as the top choice for legal services in Canterbury and Westland.
The solution
To meet Corcoran French’s needs, we designed a sleek, modern website that balanced professional aesthetics with user friendly functionality. By using the primary blue a little more sparingly and incorporating complementary colours, we created an engaging and attractive design that balanced the use of their branding effectively.
We also enhanced various sections on the website, making it more engaging and easier to navigate, showcasing the diverse expertise of their team.
We addressed the firm’s concerns about attracting both business clients and individuals by carefully crafting the copywriting to be inclusive yet professional. Additionally, we added an ‘Our Process’ chart, highlighting the first stage as free to reassure clients that initial legal discussions wouldn’t incur charges.
To further enhance their digital presence, we filmed and edited three videos that showcase Corcoran French’s rich history, diverse skill set, and commitment to the community. These videos are integrated seamlessly into the new site, providing an engaging way for visitors to learn about the firm.
Our collaborative efforts have resulted in a refreshed website that not only meets but exceeds Corcoran French’s expectations, positioning them as a modern, client focused law firm ready to meet the legal needs of our Canterbury and Westland communities.
